Hi , just thought I should post this important update for systems having RAM capacity of more than 1GB . This official patch issued by Microsoft solves the problem in case you get "Insufficient System Resources Exist to Complete the API" error message" when you try to hibernate

Patch requires genuine Windows-XP system to install .
 
well i have got 1.5Gb of RAM, it hibernates fine but it always takes up 1.5GB on my windows partition, is there any patch to make that file small or to move it to some place else
 
Shouldnt this have been released some months back.... I mean problems like this should be solved within a few days of recognizing the problem...

I had this prob with XP SP2 since loong...after which I had stopped Hibernating.... But never mind, I think shutting down was always a better option...coz thats what Im used to now !! :D
