however, i noticed tht buttons above arent working like those B, I, U.....etc in Firefox2, however they r ok in IE.

why so ?

i think hes saying about the Bold Italics and Underline buttons on the quick reply box.

Update your browser to the latest version and (i dunno whether this would work)update your java runtimes too.
