Handheld Stuck At Boot - Any Suggestions?

This handheld was bought from the local market for a cousin. It has a 4.3inch screen and runs vintage games like mario, contra, lude runner etc in *.nes file format.

Recently, the little cousin started messing with the settings and pressed some "auto check device" feature which sent the device to reboot and it has been stuck on boot screen even since(more than a month). I tried draining the battery completely and even removing the battery.

This is its boot screen. It stays like this whether I plug to a charger or computer USB.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

unplug the battery and plug it in again after a few minutes. Might reset it.

Edited: Looks like you already tried it. What model is it?

It's exactly that device only but these things are sold under many brand names. The boxes they come with are branded but the actual devices are nameless. They all have "game player" written on the bottom, that's it.

Some photos when I pop open the back panel

I unsoldered the battery for a while and soldered back but that didn't solve it.
I'm sure its a firmware issue. Maybe someone knows how to flash it or even has a flash file?
Anyone knows a place where I could get this thing repaired in mumbai?
