What PSU are you using?

If you want a bit more gaming power go for the HD 4650 512MB DDRII ~ 2.9k. Its a much better gaming card than the GT210.

If its just a very little gaming and HD movies then even a HD4350 512MB DDRII ~ 1.9k or GT210 512MB DDR2 ~ 2.4k would suffice.

if its just HD movies than u dont need a good graphic card at all ....go for the cheapest that has "HD" on the box and i m sure all will ...my advice spend 4k on a good motherboard that supports HD with a good chipset like 790g so if u upgrading to a AM3 processor in the future....i have asus mobo of 780g chipset + phenom processor and cn play Burnout paradise on low resolution easily...if u not upgrading in near future than just get the GT210 or 3450

I have a query. Why do ppl spend so much on Gx cards for gaming when one can buy a PS2 for abt 6k and pick game CDs from the street for 40-100 bucks. Its a genuine Q. Even i'm think of buying a basic Gfx card but then this Q struck me.

U mean if i am talking of purely gaming then I rather buy a PS2 and play games on it rather than buying a graphics card? I will not be doing any animation work on my PC. Just wanna play some games for tp. Tennis, Fifa and Cricket.

For timepass, or for the games you mentioned, a PS2 is enough. We only need a graphics card when we want to play the latest games, not on a TV, and on high resolution. And with mouse + keyboard. Can't play Crysis in 1900 x1200 on a PS2, can you?

So its all about the intended usage. Buy a PS2 if you like gamepad and will only play Tennis, Football or Cricket. For higher end gaming, Ati/GeForce is your friend :)

ok..main thing is CDs of PS2 or PS3 ... u hav 2 buy original CDs (u wont get pirated cds easly available ). :(

Second if u play on computers then u cn easily dwnld games frm net, take CDs frm frnd on loan, buy frm roadside and hav ultimate gaming exp. with ur HD monitor:clap:.

dats y ppl invest so much in gfx card. :)
