If you can't wait for HD7XXX series then,Sapphire/msi hd6770-6.9k or Sapphire hd6670-5.8k,it's better to get hd6XXX series gpu than getting 5XXX series.

PSU-Corsair cx430v2-2.2k
Ok so finally what card do you suggest under 8k and what should be the psu? And wont the 5770 work better than a 6670 even though 6670 is of a higher class??

Ok so will the 5770 be slower or worse than the 6770? The 5770 is available for 6.2k and the 6770 is 1k more. Im in a really tight budget so.. and some people even say that there's only a very minor difference in between both of em and that I won't even notice!

Yes the difference is minor,if you're on a very tight budget then go for HD5770,it's a good deal.

I am on a tight budget..

This is the config i decided on with the help of fellow te members'.

Mother Board - Intel DH67BL (5200)

Processor - Intel Core i3 2100 - (6200)

Monitor - Dell IN2030M (6500)

Graphics Card - HD5670(4500)|HD5770(6200)

Memory Card - G.Skill RipJaws 4GB 1600MHZ (1900)

Power Supply Unit - Corsair CX430 V2 430 watts (2100)

So I dont want all that technology. Just better performance. So our of a 30k budget, I have 8100 for a gpu. So I want the gpu with the best performance. And I prefer 5000 series because its cheaper and has more value for money right now
<
.

So 5770 vs 6770, Id say 5770 or something equivalent to the price of the 6770 in the 5000 series
<
.

Gskill ripjaws 4gb 1600mhz is for 1.6k not 1.9k and it's MEMORY not MEMORY CARD.You've 8k remaining so get Sapphire HD6790-8.2K,You'll get better performance than hd5770.7-8 FPS gain for sure.

^^ Better try to get a second hand HD 5850 OR increase your budget a little and go for a AMD HD 6850 card, for good performance and even tighter power draw savings.

If you are going for a second hand HD 5850, you'll need atleast a Seasonic S12II 430W SMPS, the Corsair CX V2 430W will not cut it for the power draw of the HD 5850.

If anyone is selling HD5850/6850 for 7-8k then it'd be a great catch, you'll gave to add 1k more for the psu. It'd be better if you get HD6850 2nd hand than 5850 cause it eats less power.

Ok thanks!

But guys I think the 5850 will be overkill for my budget and requirement so i was thinking of the 5830. Whats the price of the 5830, new? And I was unable to see a 5790 but again whats the price of the hd5830?

And BTW guys which company's card should I get?

You won't get HD5830 anywhere, get a used HD6850/5850 which will be around 8-8.5k.Create a WTB thread in the market video hardware section so that people will give their offers.

what dx11 card will i get in 2-3k max budget? requirement is watching movies and hd content. so dvi+ hdmi out + dxva necessary.

Get SAPPHIRE HD6450 1GB DDR3-2.7k or HIS HD6450 2GB DDR3-3.6K,The best option would be if oyu can stretch the budget a bit SAPPHIRE HD5670 512MB DDR5-4.4k,you could also play games at lower setings.
