1st pc got activated properly . And for the second pc it's asking for user I'd and password . It says activate now.. Shall I use my Norton user I'd and password or something else

I'm thinking of starting a Go for 3 yrs subscription. How is the product ? Do you need to share any login credentials to share the key with others or just the key ?

You need to share the key and the download link from you Norton account. You can't activate the product by downloading the trial version off the site.

So if someone misuses the key by activating in multiple machine...Symantec will blacklist the key ?

10 licenses get 10 links/10 attempts to activate license. Its like First come First activate. After the 10 licenses activated...no further activation is allowed. If someone activated more by occupying other slots, you can always remove that instance from your account.
BTW you only see the computer names associated with the license. If you find an Odd entry you can remove the license with one-click.

And all can have their own separate Norton Accounts ?

BTW, I bought a 10 lic 3-yr pack yesterday, I got it activated on two trial versions (two PCs) with just the key. But both PCs uses the same norton account, so not sure if they can have their own accounts, else the backup feature will have no privacy.

Some of the users here had trouble with Trial pack activation. When asked the Customer Service,they said it cannot be activated using a Trial version of the software. So i really dont know wht has changed now.

W.r.t Norton account, some users after activating the license were able to login to their Norton account. Again you best bet is to chat with CS guys.

Guys, can you able to answer the regarding Norton account/Trial version activation ?

@takemein, i just clicked on the link that you sent me in email, downloaded the set up and installed it, it didn't ask for any activation or norton account creation as after the installation completed it showed me 7xx days of subscription left..
