Getting nexus 7 in US, how to get it here?

Hey guys,

I've bought a nexus 7 tablet in the US, and its already delivered.

I'm a little sceptical about getting it here via courier because apparently there's a ~16.8% import duty on it, check here - http://www.techenclave.com/shopnshipindia/custom-duty-related-queries-114092/p10/#post1627987

I'm not in any mood to spend another $40 on import duty and none of my friends or family members seem to be coming back here anytime soon. Any ideas of getting it here? or bypassing the duty?

Either get it through a friend or pay the duty. No other way.
