You can check for PWM/Flicker using the technique if you need:

Sure thing @takemein - Will do the test in a few days and report back. Also, the frames don't seem to be skipping after the overclock, so that is a good thing as well.
@suarezian - Shimians sell for 199 USD and are quite great for what the offer. I might have got one, if only they were sold new and could overclock. Oh well.
 
@coolbird22 thanks for creating this thread and sharing your experience. I have been looking to buy one for couple of years now but never took the plunge. But reading your post gives me strength. I ended up buying the HP 27inch which I am kind of regretting now because of the lack of QHD resolution. I just wanted to know how has been your Qnix holding up?
