get the 9780 or stick with 9700

If you can sell your 9700 at good price then you should upgrade to 9780 otherwise I would not suggest. I am using 9780 as of now and OS 6 still have lots of small bugs which needs to be resolved. Many of my friends are using 9700 and they are happy with it.

Whether it is worth or not is a matter of individual choices but I would have certainly upgraded if I had the Bold 2.

Lookwise they are hard to differentiate.

upgrade only if you find the price difference worth the money you'd be putting down.

Read somewhere 9780 26 K, 9700 25 K, so great for new users, but not recomended for old users

Considering that the only differences left between the two seem to be a 5 megapixel camera and 256 MB of RAM its a personal choice in the end. Lookwise as Rampage said, they're almost same.

OS 6 will be/is out for the 9700 so that difference is no longer there.
