Oops! Yeah, that sounds cool. What's the difference between GS and GT? Which is better?

Architecturally a bit, the GS is a 12 pipeline part while the GT is a 16 pipeline part, however the 6800gs is clocked higher which more than makes it up for the reduced pipelines. The xfx 6800gs xxx edition is clocked insanely @ 485/1050 over the standard 425/1000, go for it with your eyes closed. However the price seems kinda dubious for a XXX edition card since it costs 16.9k here and 16.5k in delhi. So that might be the extreme edition.......

The 6600 GT has 8 pipelines, clocked at 500/1000 and a 128bit memory interface. The 6800 GS has 12 pipelines,clocked at 425/1000 with a 256bit memory interface. Definitely go for the 6800 GS.

If at all ur thinking of goin for 6800 GS SLI, bad idea. Instead just go for a single 7800 GT or the 7900 GT(one week to go :hap2: )
