Froyo, the official ROM with Sense UI is finally here for the HTC Legend. I updated OTA yesterday and it's working great at the moment.
Some people are complaining of severe slowdowns after the update. I noticed this too initially but after trying some of these workaround as suggested in other forums, the phone is very zippy:
1. Enable USB debugging. Nobody exactly know why this works but it does.
2. Factory Reset.
3. Disabling Live Wallpapers.
4. Connect to a Wi-fi and let your phone sync everything with your contacts (Wait for it to fully download facebook pictures and stuff)
At the time of writing, my phone feels great with Froyo loaded.
