Graphic Cards Crysis Benchmark Thread

Hey guys

I'm assuming all the tech geeks here must have played crysis atleast once, and it gives pretty good real world bechmarking results, unlike 3d Mark 06 it is still very much gfx dependent. I'm posting my results here and with permission from mods I can maintain this thread for top results for high and very high settings with these parameters. Also I hope I'm not double posting, I dont think TE has such a thread!

High Settings

1. 1280x1024/1680x1050, Settings High or V.High, Time of day 9, 2 runs, NO AA/AF to be posted along with the screenshot - should include CPUZ & GPUZ along with the benchmark window, in this format

High or V.High

Use the settings using this tool Crysis Benchmarking Tool & Leave the rest on default! Doesn't matter if its on 64bit or 32bit, get the highest score using whatever.

id avgfps 1280x1024 or 1680x1050 -- cpu @ actual speed -- gpu @ actual speed -- cooling(air/water/extreme)

I'll rank according to performance in 1280x1024

This is similar to the thread in EOC forums

I'll also color code 1280x 1024/ 1680x1050 results, as well as user id's for Nvidia & ATI

V.high can only be run from Vista ,NO Xp mods allowed.

It has ample headroom if not as much as the 9800GTx; :D

Yes the game as it is still not able to do 50fps+ even on decent overclocking!, but this game doesn't require 50fps to be smooth, I play it on around 35-40fps @ v.high on my 24x7 clocks, its very playable and looks beautiful :eek:hyeah:
 
Err are you guys running the benchmark_gpu batch file or is this framerate from a normal game run? If its the latter there's no way performance is comparable. I get roughly around 35-36fps @1680 with 4xAA and max AF with very high presets in the benchmark_gpu inbuilt benchmark.

Even I was wondering;

Since we used to run those benchies from the bin32 folder;

Sorry Blunder or my part, forgot to add the tool, added link for the Crysis Bechmarking Tool. Its the default benchmark for GPU
 
little edit with little overclock as far as i can go with stock stuff... will surely try better if once i get some good cooler for cpu/gpu and better ram.... untill then this is my best all on stock

u will obviously get a performance hit due to dx10

i suggest that you google the config tweaks for crysis that give a good combination of image quality and smooth fps

what you basically do is dont turn all features to very high, but only turn those up which have a greater impact on imagequality...and u do this from the config file

No we dont want ppl doing this for the benchmarking results, they should be at all high/V.high without any tweaks of CVAR or config files.

Crysis does better in Vista in DX10 in x64bit OS compared with DX9, I'm not sure about x86, but in EOC, we did note that Crysis does better with quads in DX10. We had quite some runs proving this.:)

@rakesh, bud I would need the screenshots for those runs.
