cordless phone and wi fi routor

does a cordless phone interferes with wi fi routor. i'm planning to buy a cordles phone and i've a wireless routor

the phone doesnt interfere with the router

its the other way round!

buy a 5.2ghz cordless period!

Had heard that interference would happen, so both router and phone are at opp. extremes of the house.
