Budget 41-50k Casual CAD work & Presentations, Photoshop etc.

  • I need the laptop for mostly preparing presentations, the odd autocad use (light), revit (again only for checking files) and photoshop etc. I already have desktops for the major tasks :)
  • Casual gaming if time permits!
  • 15.6" FHD is what i am thinking. I will make to with TN glossy panels unless you guys can suggest better
  • Want to avoid Acer due to quality and Dell due to pricing
  • Will be bumping it up later with ram upgrades and adding an SSD in the DVD DRIVE caddy
  • One big question that comes to mind is that should i go for the i5 7th gen options?
  • I have shortlisted a few models here
  • I can buy from brick and morta stores too as this will give me better financing options

ok since i am not getting any answers. the question needs to be modified will any 8gb i5 6th be ok for the purpose and in the said subject. Ok as in will perform as all laptops in that price range?

Go for additional ram (at least 8gb). If you don't plan to play games then you don't really need discrete graphics such as a 940m as Revit 2017 runs fine even with onboard gfx.

Laptops with i5 7th gen which you have listed does not have detailed descriptions. I could not even find exact processor number in listing.

i5 7200u @ 2.4ghz for asus model(Amazon answers) though the seller should have mentioned it.
To the OP:
Looks fine and comes with Nvidia 940mx
I will recommend Nvidia gpu any day over on board gpu even if you are not into gaming..
Best bang for price..
