I bought a Xonar HDAV 1.3 Slim from Chandigarh for my HTPC could not put a GPU in it since it lacks a 16X PCIe now the problem is that with HDMI i am unable to get 5.1 LPCM output of 24/96/khz or 24/192Khz. I have been able to make setting to pass thru audio for DD/DTS HD but for normal non DD/DTS material i would like the card to decode it but so far all i can get is 2 channel 24/96/khz or 24/192Khz. I have tried complete reinstall but could not get it to work if i select 24bits the audio shows up as 2channel hell even if i select 192Khz the audio becomes 2channel.

Earlier i had a ASUS Xonar Essence ST which this ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 Slim purely because i wanted DD/DTS HD pass-through with the facility of LPCM decoding on board, with the ASUS Xonar Essence ST i could use 2.0 PCM 24/192KHz SPDIF without any problem i expected HDMI to be much much better.
