I am facing a peculiar problem with my rig , from past few days . when ever i am going for cold boot ( ie starting the computer ) then i face BSOD once and after that its again back to normal and computer works fine.
Below diagram tries to explain the situation clearly
1) start comp-->grub-->win7--> BSOD-->restart-->grub-->win7-->Works fine
2) Start comp -->grub-->ubuntu-->jazzy lines at GDM--> restart-->grub-->ubuntu-->works fine
3) Win7--> soft restart-->win7 or ubuntu work fine.
My Config is as follows,
C2D E7400 (never overclocked)
XFX 9600gt ( Nver overclocked)
2x2gb Kingston ram
320 GB Seagate Sata
Any clues as to what has happened ?
