Browser Security Test

I doubt it'll be any different for the same browsers that people are using, unless of course they're using Internet Explorer with Seperate Service Packs and certain tweaks and stuff.

Doubt it'll be too different for things like Firefox and Opera. Are there no general test results for this one?

Yeah I was running the tests and it started doing some weird things on my PC, I'm not too happy about it, so I just shut it down. :p

The funny thing is I had Netlimiter running and the first time i ran the test on IE, i had blocked (denied using Netlimiter) access by WM player and some other programs that were trying to access the net.. Then, the result read -

High Risk Vulnerabilities 7

Medium Risk Vulnerabilities 4

Low Risk Vulnerabilities 0

But when i allowed all the programs to access the net, the result was -

High Risk Vulnerabilities 3

Medium Risk Vulnerabilities 2

Low Risk Vulnerabilities 0

Here is something for all IE users!
C'mon guys give IE some credit!!! No loopholes found!!! :eek:hyeah: :eek:hyeah:

My system is running Win XP with SP 2 and all the latest updates available.

Without running any plug-ins and stuff? And no Service Pack in XP? ;)

That was with the lastest version of Maxthon running a few plug-ins ( translator, page zoom and tool bar auto hide)

Windows XP Pro Corp. SP2 installed (Active X controlls set for moderate security)
