iOS Broken iPhone 6 screen - touch still works

My iPhone 6 front glass panel is cracked. The touchscren still works like normal - its just the glass that is cracked. Any suggestions on how to replace/repair this?

The "Apple store" guys in Bangalore are suggesting replacement of the whole assembly which I feel is not needed since the touch screen and touch ID are both working just fine.

if the glass is cracked, then you need to get the replacement done for the whole assembly as the glass (which is actually the capacitive touchscreen) and the LCD display are fused together. So you have 2 options:
1. Use the phone as it is as touchscreen functions fine currently.
2. Get the replacement done
