Broadband options in south Chennai

Hi folks,

I will be moving to Chennai soon (a little on the outskirts) and would like to know what are the options for getting a good broadband connection. I have good experiences with Airtel but am not sure if they may be available at the location. I do think BSNL is available there but have not had very good experiences with them earlier.

The main factors I would like are stable connection, with main use being entertainment, video streaming & conferencing. I think at least 2 Mbps may be sufficient (or would I need more?) and hopefully an unlimited plan or at least one with about 40GB or more monthly usage.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I will be moving to Medavakkam near Pallikaranai (about 10 KM from Velacheri). It looks like Airtel is not available there as yet. I will try checking with ACT.
In the meantime are there are any other options for good wireless broadband providers for home use?
 
I think ACT must be there. They install within a day or two. Seems the best option. You can purchase a wifi modem or router.
