The first thing i did when i got the RAM was memtest.. Both sticks passed the tests individually. However, didn't do 8 pass tests (didn't have the patience) as its already been too long the machine was down and just wanted to get on with the installations and start using it... and i'm finally using it. Moreover, 2 pass tests should be good enough ? Right ?

LinX, is also a good testing tool. It automatically allocates all available memory to the testing cycle(s), and completes the whole load in an hour.
