added a few more options.. but then again its hard to vote for one particular RAM or the chip.. coz there are tons of different chips from Samsung and not all are rated the same as others..

same goes with RAM too.. there are other manufacturers (though not officially available in India) which are expensive and are considered the best.

Depends on what motherboard you have and how much juice it can provide, where you are buying your chips from.
Winbond are almost impossible to find here.
Same goes for TCCD.
Hynix D43 is a good option if you are buying from India.

Neone heard abt SIMMTRONICS ????

Got a Kingston from a sealed package of Simmtronics ?

Strange ?

I mailed them at their site...They havent replied at all.....

Are they doing it on purpose ?

They claim they have thier own chip + boards....

Alrite ...... Sell ur own RAM in Ur Package for Starters !!!!!!

TheMask is TheMod he gets to decide on the number of options he isnt limited by the default 10 for members.

Very difficult to Vote.

Chip
Samsung TCCD - Production stopped was the best for gr8 OC's at low volt :(
Winbond - OC's gr8 at tight timings with the voltage fed into it
D43 - Gr8 if you want a solution in India

Ram
Out of India
OCZ , GSkill , Patriot , Giel etc..

In India its Hynix & Corsair

Now where do i put my vote. ;)

There shud be 2 polls for Chip & Ram not one combined

I voted for OCZ and Winbond+Samsung

As TCCD and UTT/BH-5 are both excellent.

UTT/BH-5 dont do high speeds though but nothing beats them at tight timings.

TCCD on the other hand is completely different,i feel it was specially designed for high speeds.

Hynix D43 is mostly a luck thing.
If you get Lucky, you hit a jackpot, otherwise its not so rosy.
