BB trolls their way into the hearts of devs

Just came across this ludicrous vid by BB to encourage developers -


Now this maybe bad, but MS had one ace up their sleeve too back in the day when Vista released -

HA, its got the right amount of cheese to be interesting. I enjoyed it personally, don't know why you're so shocked OP.
 
^ Sorry, to me it looks like a marketing strategy gone wrong. They are trying to pull all punches to connect to the younger crowd and re-establish themselves but this just doesn't show anything! By putting a couple of middle-aged guys in the video and really dumb lines like "Though I know that you all are wondering when..... It won't be forever... " it just doesn't connect with me in any sense. :)

My view was like that of a guy who posted this comment -

"I feel as if I have been rickrolled by BB"

Producer -- "That prolly doesn't rhyme, rephrase it."

What newness are the offering us, they will stop charging us for the BBM pins OR something on similar lines OR maybe they devised a way to play Angry Birds using QWERTY controls for the top jocks?

P.S. -- What probably inspired these guys --
