Download master upgrades are directly shown under the Download manager icon on the Router admin page, but only if there is a upgrade available for the router you have. I had an upgrade hyperlink displayed under the icon and clicking on it automatically downloads the app

Thank you. Lets see if N13 gives more trouble then will migrate to N16..

Above review is 3 yrs old. asus has done many changes to its default firmware(v3.0.0.4.354). Meets most of my requirements. Has in-built downloader. Works well. Also a cloud application, enabling me to access my Hard disk connected to N16 from the internet.

Do not know if there are any benefit that i am supposed to be missing..

Have a look at some of the tutorials and the stuff you can do with ddwrt
