Anonymous Takes Down Websites Of Indian Supreme Court & AICC

After almost an year of not being active, it seems like Anonymous’s opIndia has taken down the Indian Supreme Court’s website and the official website of the All India Congress Committee, in its response to Internet censorship in India. there weren’t any notices on these websites indicating the hack.

According to tweets from the @opindia_revenge account (which was retweeted by the official Twitter account of Anonymous), the hacktivists have taken down http://supremecourtofindia.nic.in and http://aicc.org.in and intends to take down the website of Department of Telecommunication (Department of Telecomm) and of the Chennai-based Copyright Labs (http://www.copyrightlabs.in) which had issued the John Doe order to various ISPs to block Vimeo, DailyMotion and all major torrent sites in the country to prevent the piracy of their tamil films Dammu and 3.

That is all 'twas required now, a nail in the coffin for free internet in INDIA. Taking down the Supreme Court's site, did these guys learn basic strategy this will garner even more John Doe's for ISP's for providing a 'secure and safe surfing experience'.
