Developer of Angry Birds franchise Rovio has announced the sequel of the highly successful Angry Birds : Star Wars. The Angry Birds Star Wars II will be releasing on September 19th on app stores worldwide.
The sequel will feature over 30 characters. It will also have over 30 collectable TELEPODS figures from Hasbro. Placing these figures onto your phone or tablet camera will scan your character of choice directly into the game, allowing you to select new characters on the fly.
This time you can not only play as the birds but can also join the Pork Side. The game is expected to be launched on all major platforms including Android, iOS and Windows Phone at launch in September.
