Android has moved beyond just mobile phones - to tablets , notebooks , TVs , music players , watches , e-book readers and more . Now it comes to kitchen as well on MAID , which is a Microwave (Microwave Android Integrated Device) .
Developed in India , the Android integrated microwave oven incorporates a voice assistant that will guide you throughout the cooking procedure. "A consumer using MAID would be able to prepare as many as 52,000 recipes, all of which are available online and which could be downloaded after connecting to the internet," said Sabarish Prakash, CEO.
The software that runs on MAID has been developed and integrated at cost of Rs 20,000 . It is currently a prototype and large scale production is set to begin by December . The final product at launch is expected to retail around Rs 7,000 - Rs. 8,000 .
