Android OS based gaming tablet, Wikipad releasing on October 23 for $499
Wikipad, the Android OS based gaming tablet is now set for launch on the 31st of October of this year in the USA. The Gaming tablet has detachable controls, and is powered by nVidia Tegra 3, which is also found on devices such as the Asus Google Nexus 7 and the HTC One X.
The Wikipad will support games through portals such as the Playstation Mobile, nVidia's Tegra zone and the Google play store. The Tablet has impressive specifications such as a 10.1 inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 800, nVidia Tegra 3 clocked at 1.4 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The creators of Wikipad have also partnered up with the gaming company Gaikai to stream certain games to the Tablet such as Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3 etc.
