Never heard anyone use that name for it but yeah its quiet...But some samples seem to have coil whine based on amazon.com user reviews

Mine's running nice and silent in my M1. And yes, I do consider it to be a shorty
My pic in the other thread compares it to my older full length 570 (that is massive compared to this).
