You can get lsi cards from eBay. No custom duty at all as the Chinese seller will ship it as a product under 5usd. Just buy it from high rated seller. Will cost 3.5K~ almost tripple than m.2 thingy.

If you don't mind paying you could possibly import them as well though not all online websites deliver to India. Also many of the cheaper/used cards have fewer ports so if you want larger port capacity or the newer higher bandwidth versions you might need to look for new. In India as far as I know the easiest to find cheaper used cards are the Dell rebranded ones.

That's true for the majority of cheap SATA controllers but the ASM1166 controller is considered one of the best alternatives to dedicated HBA cards, with the only major downside being it doesn't have enough PCIe bandwidth for 6 SSDs (though it shouldn't be an issue for spinning drives):

For a more robust solution, you should be able to get a Dell H310 SAS HBA card for around 6k online or locally, and that'll work in IT mode with SAS to SATA cables.

If one can wait for few days then they can save few bucks as well.
I've personally ordered lsi ones but dell/hp ones would also be fine as those are just rebranded as you said.

Have you received such orders from ebay recently(last few months/year) without any customs issues? Do you need to submit any ID proof for receiving such orders on ebay site or courier company/delivery person?

That was the standard method until govt started cracking down on such Chinese imports beginning from somewhere around 2019 & many ppl stopped ordering altogether from aliexpress & similar sites.

Yes, I ordered one recently also(last month). It was registered post so got delivered by India Post. It's kind of gamble as its upto custom official to determine correct price. But seller will ship it under 10usd price on label.

I started removing parts of the url until I had the shortest url with the products that I wanted to see. Here's the basic url for all products sold by Appario:

I needed a riser cable for my new Lian Li 216.. the original Li Lian is outrageously priced at 5-6K.. so was looking at alternatives.. and came across this on Amazon. After doing some research, I found that this is an MSI OEM part...

Since it was returnable... I ordered it. To my surprise not only did it fit perfectly... I did not see any drop in performance even after repetitive 3D mark testing.

the return period is still open... is there anything else I should be testing for?

Seems like antec psu is not so good for high loads(aka for ppl who actually need 800w+ like miners at that time) but as a general psu with load never even crossing 600w it does look fine for this price(that NZXT C750 for 5400 is still the best deal for psu till date on amazon/fk in my opinion).
