Airtel Bandwidth limit reached : Continue plan

Have been using the old airtel plan for a long time
30 gb @ 2 mbps , and thereafter 1 mbps unlimited till next bill cycle.

Suddenly today net just stopped for an hour after which a html page shows airtel smartbytes your month bandwidth consumed 100 % and left, time to next bill cycle. please buy smartbytes to continue browsing. or type below letters to continue as per old plan. Clicked continue and can still browse at 1 mbps speeds.

this has never happened before and if it keeps showing up it will stop all by downloads in between.
Is this happening to others too?

What is this plan you are using btw? I am considering airtel for broadband but the have so shitty plans. Like, 15gb 2mbps and there after 256kbps for unlimited (that's even less than 2G speeds )

This is an old plan no longer available now taken 4-5 years back. Stuck on it since as you mention all others are 256 Kbps unlimited now any change of plan and the old plan is gone for good.

me too had crossed my 30gb limit 1 week ago, don't know why i am getting 2mbps full speed since yesterday
