Storage Solutions Add more HDDs than the number of SATA ports ?

So I saw a few decent deals on storage in the market section.
I was thinking if it is possible to add more HDDs to my NAS without changing my mobo which currently has 4 SATA ports all of them in use.
WHat are my options and how much would they cost me, as well as how reliable are they ?

Look into SAS HBAs. You can get these used or refurbished. The SAS ports on these support 4 SATA drives each via a fanout cable.
If you want to add more drives later on you can add a SAS Expander that will let you add 20 drives to each port of the HBA.
I've been using the Perc H200 HBA 24x7 for 2 years and faced no issues. I got it for 5.5k refurbished.

Thanks @Titokhan @Pauljacob750
I think investing in a RAID card has long term benefits for me. Unfortunately, since my server resides in Delhi home and I'm going back to Bangalore this weekend, I'll have to postpone the upgrade until my next visit to Delhi.

Raid card if u can get one at good price are worthy but there are sata expansion cards also available in market maybe costlier here.....https://www.ebay.com/itm/364062334679?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=xs90jeo4s0q&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=_WiFN5U5S3-&var=633397611544&widget_ver=artemis&media=WHATS_APP
