I ported my secondary number to BSNL. The first recharge INR 81 gives 1 year validity.
vodafone / idea are not getting recharged from main balance. but on airtel, got the msg. that if not recharged with 35, 23 will be deducted from main balance for 28 days validity. hope VoId starts doing this..

Idea has already started deducting the balance from main account. Mine was deducted a week back. So no worries for you.. u can continue for years

got the number recharged when i sold something, as the buyer was not able to do bank transfer. Above all, i was using that Idea Number as my primary number.

Not getting into much hassle do they have provision to make 1 time payment of 35 INR x 12 months To avoid getting disconnected.

I believe they have calculated their date-of-death and now they are on reaping as much they can.
Not possible the way you think but via annual recharge. Don't know now if annual recharges do exist after this new protocol. I'm on postpaid since a more than a decade.
I have Vodafone number (more than 12 years old sim) in Kolkata circle, obviously they have barred the outgoing facility, now I can't even send that PORT message to 1900! I want to port out to BSNL. What's the minimum amount of validity recharge I can make to just be able to and that text message? 35 rupees gives you 28 days validity, but is there something with like 1-day validity?

lol.. idea is not even allowing balance transfer to any other idea no., for more than 50 Rs., that too, the recepient no. has to be of same circle, wherein airtel allows max of 101 Rs.

Vodafone has 23 pack? Haven't seen it anywhere. Or is it new? 35 was the lowest for 28 days till now.
@aalok 's balance can give 57 months of validity ! or 86 months if using the 23.

Just was too lazy to go to mtnl and give my documents and photo etc . .
As they don't take Aadhar anyway ...also Aadhar can't be accepted anymore I guess .

airtel's validity extended for 28 days after auto deduct. 23 from main balance. got msg. in idea, that 24 Rs. will be deducted, if not recharged. relieved..
