1 cell phone, 20k to spend...

hello,

have about 20k to spend on my new cell phone...had been to the market today, checked out nokia 6270 - 18k with bill, looks ok, read the review on mobile review, not so good, also checked out v3i, 14k with bill 256mb, looks amazing, no fm radio, read the review, seems ok, could get a better cam phone, don't like any of the N series...all bad, all of them! also checked out SE k750i nd w800i, liked both of them but the screen size is small...

heres what i need in a cell phone-

big screen
good cam with flash
blue tooth,
fm radio
good mem support
really good looks...not in favour of nokia, wonder who is designin the new nokia phones, they all look like some smahed up cars

bottom line, have 20k to spend on a cell phone, suggestions needed...thanx
 
i would have said W800i..but u said screen size is small...tht means u r looking for a phone with a 240*320 screen
u can get the N70 or else..check up on O2 XDAIImini... i dont know if it has radio or not...but it has everything else and costs smwhere arnd 20k

if only you are ok with 92mbs of limited memory

i think you should go for k750 cause at that budget you can get it along with 1gb card and lots of accessories like the external flash MXE-60 which will make your phone a complete cam
and for such small phone there is no way you can get a bigger screen

so i think you should go for k750

Nokia have Good Resale Value and if you are fond of New Handset every after 6-10 months than I suggest one must choose Nokia.

And if you are a Man for Quality and Never fed up with your old Handest than GO FOR SONYERICSSON.

Ahem.. Apart from Resale value, Symbian is ADDICTIVE !

As long as only Nokia has Symbian, it'll rule..

my cousin had the K750i. She sold it in 2 months coz it was giving her a lot of problems. Hanging every few mins and also it is not user friendly.

Thats why i suggested a Samsung.

Why do u need a 1 gb card?? Cut down on the porn in ur cell ;)
 
i used to be a blockia hater but not after i got bit by the Symbian addictive bug when i tried some things of 6600 my dad bought.

Then i bought N70. It truly is an overall package of excellence.

Nokia's and MOtorolas MOdems are really good and so is their battery.
so see its not all SE its somwething definitely nokia has else it wudnt be one of the world's largest ph company!
 
well, they are the best company.

But most of the phones have no style at all.
See outta all the Phones, 3 - 3 phones are always identical.

N70, is just for name. It has a style to it.

N70 is bulky in terms of looks...it almost looks like a slab of stone..

but i agree to the fact that till the point Nokia phones are coming with symbian they are gonna keep up the sales...
Sony's M600 and W950i are also coming with sumbian UI...and they can be a changing in terms of sales if their UI is good.
 
SE has a different version of Symbian - UIQ. Only the P series of SE phones have it now, M600 and W950 will have it too. Support isn't too great, apps and games are plenty, plenty less than what can be found in Nokia's Symbian. The fanbase is less than Java enabled phones.

I agree the looks aren't that great in Nokia. Nokia really hasn't been refreshing with their designs. They tend mostly towards business pda looks while Moto and SE have a much youther (if its a word) appeal.

But is it more stylish? Or sleek? That's only a matter of opinion. There are tons of different colour housings available for N70 on ebay from pure black to red and yellow, all of them breathing a new life into the N70.



Just for facts - W550i/W600i weighs almost the same as N70. (both near 120g) and K750 almost reaches there (99g), W900i weight MORE than N70(146g).

Width and Height is bigger in N70 than some of SE phones but then you get a bigger screen.

Also, N70 has been officialy quoted as the 'Smallest' 3G Smartphone. That tells N70 shouldn't even be compared with non-smartphones non-3g phones.

Bulky phones are N90 (Godzilla of Mobile World), 7710, SE P series etc.
