Does anyone know about jetlaptechnologies.com? They seem to specialise in custom-built PCs but also sell parts. Their location is given as Nehru Place.

I've gone through their T&C but didn't read every single word. The impression I got was that their terms are self-centric rather than customer-centric. For example, even for DOA products, the customer has to bear the return shipping cost, and there's a 5% cancellation charge even before an order is processed.

Anyway, what I'd like to know is whether they are genuine and reliable.

Why are you even considering them after so many red flags? I checked their site and the prices are also on the higher side.
Better stick to well-known sites listed on pcpricetracker.in

Because they have an item I want at a considerably lower price than the average market price.
Now hold on. I'm a seasoned buyer and never make a rash purchase based solely on price. I'm also a patient shopper and often make substantial savings (like 20-30%) without being scammed.
I'd be immediately suspicious if their prices were all well below average, like fpscrib.com who are known scammers, but they're not. In fact, some of their prices are on the high side.

The existence of these shitty rules doesn't make it a scam. If you were straight scamming, there's no incentive to put these sort of rules. They only benefit you if you're actually selling things at volume. I've bought from tlggaming and pcstudio, both of them have a 3-5% cancellation fee, and I got my products without any issues. It's annoying but this is the price of dealing with smaller stores.

That said, I have no idea if this vendor is legit or not.

One problem with these places is that they have offline stores already and go in for ecommerce with half-baked ideas and no commitment. They don't know how to operate in that space and know only the offline way of selling. Maybe 1 in 100 of these offline to online stores actually have some thought put into their processes and policies etc.

I was already of that opinion but didn't say so in my opening post because I didn't want to clutter it. In fact, I started to type something like "On the other hand, imposing such conditions to protect themselves may not sound customer-friendly but could be taken as an indication that they are genuine"

Thanks for your interest.
Shop is in Nehru place Delhi a very well-known zone so local delhites can visit and confirm.
Yes, I was hoping that some people would know about them, online or offline.
I know about Nehru Place, been there a few times when I was in Delhi, but those times were several years ago.
