This is mystery to me, why he bust into fire when Mod asked for a little bit verification and background check….unless….I'm not sure why he got so angry when a mod asked him to verify his claim.
yes. he was providing medical advice to people but when mod asked for ID, he didnt provide and lashed out at the mod. What verification did he fail to provide? I mean he lied about being a doctor or what?
He technically never verified anything at all (not just the Dr. part) and if one were observant (as some were) they would notice he took every opportunity possible to pretend an unusual level of intimacy and familiarity out of nowhere (His life was supposedly an open book and all his personal information was apparently already out there on google for anyone to find). "Accidently" embarrassing yourself with confession of private details from the position of vulnerability is merely the flipside of grandiosity. Disruptive tragedies draw people in, not too different from political promises which are fiscally impossible. The illusion of knowledge and familiarity is the same in each case and singularly circular. His response to the Mod was also heightened vulnerability and circular proof, converting the burden of plausibility into unjustified belief in the implausible. What he was doing was not unusual, what is unusual is that the Mod noticed and took action. Praiseworthy and a difficult task. On social media, trying to impose oneself on one's neighbor with tall tales (whether vulnerable or grandiose) is commonplace, most of it's called "sharing" your life with your loved ones. Before Facebook, randomly disclosing Bizzare information or Job updates in the public square would be suspect but now we have confused the private and public, the anonymous and the known together so you can do one thing in the guise of the other. What verification did he fail to provide? I mean he lied about being a doctor or what?
We can’t leave it like “that was that”. If he is expressing opinions it’s his right, but when he goes beyond and claims doctor by profession and provides advices/prescriptions etc, and if he can’t provide valid ID to prove his qualification, then it creates legal trouble for forum admins, some could miss proper diagnosis or get treated wrongly. We can't confirm what the real thing was with him or any of us for that matter, can we?
If he was able to prove his medical background or not, the fact is the info shared was genreally correct ( though a lot of things even till date ate in development owing to the state of Pandemic) but if he wasn't able to share the relevant info sought by the mod for the proper verification of his suggestions and/or facts then that was that..
But what matters here is that we are on a social platform and the mods have become far more active and vigilant since past 1.5 years, and we all should follow the rules no matter what, yes we will make mistakes but for the forum to be credible and relevant, rules should be followed and facts, shared should be backed up as and when asked by the users or the staff, that's the basic thing, isn't it?
I feel we should move on, he can always create a new I'd and come back and adhere to the guidelines provided or sought by the staff.
My 2c.
Must have got a huge thrill when shit like this went unchallenged. That why he probably kept coming back for more. Classic con-man. Most of the time I just TLDR his long replies apart from the first few during covid times where he did share good resources to understand it better, but I guess you could get those on reddit if you spent some time there and just share it onwards to others.I think he is a doctor but other things he wrote were utter bullshit, like him saying "strongest woman of WB personally talked to him and addressed him as last communist alive". Why would she know some doctor from Europe so personally and how he called Pritam and "he admitted to stealing songs".
That doesn't make any sense he is still one of the biggest music composer of India, there is no reason for him to confess that to a kid he hardly knew 30-40 years over a video call.
whos that?.Funny thing now is how few other frauds, as seen above, are now discussing about him, another fraud, but of course, right?
I believe that's what I meant, isn't it?????We can’t leave it like “that was that”. From my interactions with him on other threads, he never responded like a doctor would. It’s always big paras of broken text with improper sentencing, wordings, etc. and diverging thought process, jumping from one topic to another in the same para.
It’s good that the mods have caught this and took action.
