You may consider moto g40 fusion too, available for 13.5k. It has a 120hz fullhd+ dispaly, decent processor, good battery etc. I’ve no first hand experience tho.

Yeah my friend has this one. It's battery is around 6000 mah. Correct me if I am wrong
And display is good too. He bought for his father. But he kept it for himself.

Do consider the weight of G40. I use Poco X3 which weighs around 225 grams, is same as g40, which can be hard on his hands.
As mentioned above Redmi Note 10(10 pro) series will be good. They satisfy most of your requirements and have near 5000 mah battery which means weight is near 195-197 gms.
Moto would have been your best bet if it wasn't for being overweight.

Redmi phones have too much bloatwares.i wouldn't recommend that

You won't get 128GB internal storage in that budget but you can add a microsd slot.

Unpopular opinion, but try and get your kid a used/refurbished iPhone. It will be a bit expensive but will last him a long while and probably be a good companion if you get him an iPad/MacBook for further studies. The iPhones just work and lasts a long while. Another benefit is the easy to use parental controls.
