Pathetic behaviour by Flipkart Ekart delivery guy, Samsung S7 phone exchange issue

Great experience with Amazon for exchange, Delivery boy called to deliver the package told him no one is at home, Asked him can he deliver to my other address which was like 2kms away he said yes why not. He came checked the phone (LG G3) IMEI did not asked for box or even accessories but later I gave him the box. All done.
 
FK bought eBay india. eBay cc used to do like this - cut calls if you put them on hold or if you were even one or two seconds late in picking up calls, they will say they tried to call you but you didn't pick up.
Most of them were like illiterate people who didn't bother with any info you gave them. Even their email was slow. Ask question today and if your'e lucky you will get reply asking you what you were asking after 3-4 days.
 
They all sound like people who don't know how to talk, Flipkart's supervisor was stammering, not even able to tell me when the delivery was originally scheduled, basically no effort is made to solve customers problem, I was told by email that some tried calling me but there was no response from my end , which was a lie as so far in the last three days no one has called me or tried delivering the order
 
So I order Redmi Note 4 for one of my relatives at my home address, wife accept the parcel and when I open the parcel seal was broke and inside box was full of generic soap. So I called them explain the situation, twit them but after 10 days they told me they can't replace it because everything was OK from their side, calling them and writing mail doesn't make any difference.

So out of rage I order around 100 different big electronics item from different accounts through COD and rejected every one of them when they came to deliver.

I am still making account and ordering tons of shit to get on their nerves.

That is a stupid thing to do. They will just blacklist your address.

Instead file a complaint with CC/DC - dispute and speak to consumer court.

I always try to video record unboxing of the stuff so that something like this does not happen to me. If the item is okay I just delete the video. I need to get some small stand for phone cause opening a box with one hand is hard.

Was a regular customer of flipkart, have bought more than 10+ mobile from them, this happened first time and I was not at home at time of delivery

Spoke to AMEX and put a dispute claim. I think FK needs to get a reality lesson.

Wait i thought you returned it because the box was opened. You kept the phone anyway?

Card dispute is the best way for us indian customers i think.

Yeah, like the delivery guy was feeling generous and decide to leave me with two phone :p

I kept the original phone, and gave the replacement back, and after hearing of cases like @manucitc, its better that way.
 
Something happened to a guy who bought a OP5 from Amazon where the delivery guy left without even taking the signature. Inside the package was another phone and the delivery guy didn't even take the exchanged phone from the customer.

So it seems there are issues with last mile connectivity with all players. Thankfully, I have had much better experiences with couriers despite living in a remote village. But even Indiapost over here play the 'Customer not at home' card as do other couriers.
I prefer to go and pick up the package myself as that seems much more convenient and scam-proof to me.
 
I would say don't waste your time with Fk and move on, The new local market price for Samsung S7 is around 29k buy locally and sell your G3 here on TE.
 
Similar issue with me. Except FK delivery guy rejected my phone (Redmi note 4). Thats OK. but now I have an order which was cancelled and which was taken on EMI. Not sure how to cancel EMI.

Also got fake Kenneth cole sunglasses from FK. This was FK assured and seller was RetailNET. Returned the order. Awaiting pickup.

ON the flip side - exchange for q6 went butter smooth. Amazon guy came and I had to sent him back as phone was not at home. Rescheduled delivery and it was done today.

Fortunately my Acer laptop from FK came fine.
 
And new update from FK - A technician will now visit and check my phone and review if it is eligible for return. Good to know that we have 2 rules in Flipkart, for returns, one on the phone, and the other will do a visit. I think I took the correct decision to dispute the decision with AMEX.

I am wondering what will he say, no there is no network issue, problem is with Jio only, blah blah. You should use the phone and not ask for replacement?

For the record, the person I spoke with from Flipkart backend team was a Yogesh Meena from Jaipur, Rajasthan, and he called from +91-1416634400.
 
Their Twitter team are now repeatedly lying that they tried calling me , they have not called me once, they copy paste the same message to everyone blindly. How their standards have become, there Twitter feed has just copy paste messages, they don't care about there image.
 
Now more , got an email asking for alternate contact number when in the same email below I had shared my alternate number, the alternate number is not required in any case because they haven't called me nce on the primary number, they just keep making stuff up.
 
I was about to buy a Vu 49inch LED in Big Billion Sale. But somehow didn't have the confidence in them for such a big purchase.

Guess reading so many negative instances on TE and Quora gradually does that to you.

Feels like it was the right decision. Only if it was available on Amazon...
 
They have cancelled my ordr now, without informing me, for days they troubled me , made me call them multiple times, did absolutely nothing against all the complaints and now without informing me order is cancelled,[DOUBLEPOST=1506649896][/DOUBLEPOST]I have good case for legal action, lets see
