Hey all!
I am looking to buy a monitor for the above mentioned uses (gaming, movies, software development). Researched over 50 hours and finally decided to get a Dell U2415.
But, I am still not sure whether this is the best I can get.

Size : 23" - 25"
Budget : Under 30k

Also, I am not a hardcore gamer. I play a couple of hours everyday and maybe a little more on weekends. Movies and TV shows - Around 3 hours everyday.
Rest of the time - Browsing, music, work (software development).

Please suggest a monitor that you think best fits my requirements.
Thanks!

Asus monitors for me bro
Have compared dell vs Asus and Asus are better in terms of pure picture quality and color accuracy. Dell has a lot more features

Dell U23xx/U24xx whichever you can find for cheap. The 2412 uses PWM dimming so I'd stay away from that one. Any other ones should be decent. Even the Asus PA249Q is good but costs a lot more.

Asus PA249Q looks pretty good! I am not able to find it anywhere online to buy it, though.
How about Dell U2515H? I have been given a quotation of 24k for that. Specs seemed pretty good too. Thoughts?

24k for 2515 is a killer deal. Buy it blindly.

Yeah.. but do you think it fits my use-cases?
I ordered U2515 already, though. Just wanted to know if there was/is a better option. :)

I feel 25 incher is not a good display size for 1440p resolution. Minimum 27 inch is considered good for 1440p. I have a Korean Monitor 27inch 1440p, costed me 17k including customs.

Yeah? I thought anything above 24 inches requires a 1440p display. How bad would it be? 1440p on 25 inches?

Not sure about it as I have not seen 1440p on a 25 display. I feel you can only enjoy higher resolution on a higher display size. 25inch is not less but since monitor is always a one time investment and less likely thing we upgrade, I will suggest look for 27inch.

I figured 27 inches will be too big and may strain my eyes. I sit in front of a laptop/screen for around 15 hours a day. And desk space is a constraint too. Also, with my viewing distance, I'd have to move my eyes too much on a 27 inches screen.[DOUBLEPOST=1445965125][/DOUBLEPOST]I am still actually looking for suggestions on a monitor for my use cases. :)
