Ok, so the latest drivers are 15.15 but 15.7 is still considered the latest "stable" release.
the prior (in my case) failsafe option was 14.12 (aka omega drivers)
that being said, if you could try one of the later catalyst 12.xx releases, you should have better luck with stability because those were the drivers being released while the hd 7xxx series was on sale.
13.1 was i think said to be stable for some people so you can give it a try if none of the 12 series pan out.
