Exactly!! The phone gives you So much more value at It's price. Enjoy the experience rather than analyzing every inch. Imagine you bought a micromax instead of this!!

and comments start pouring
for ur info i love this phone 10x than u love it..
thats the reason i stayed awake till 12.00am even when i was damn sleepy and tired...and couldnt sleep that night until 3am due to the excitement

Wow ...the music though earphones ...is so ****in loud...mfuckin LOUD!!!!!
a little bit high on treble...maybe its my pl11

dont know about other phones...
but compared with my zte blade the music playback is a 1000% IMPROVEMENT
Same feeling here. The bass on my new ES-18 is just too good with the Moto G. When I used the ES-18 with my LG Optimus One P500, the sound is much flatter. It may be because of some problems with the custom ROM though. Never really investigated it as I thought that the ES-18 sounded like this only. Only now I am understanding what the ES-18 is really capable of!
:headphone:

Love the phone, just got it. One thing, no OTA yet for this in India yet right ? I don't want to do it manually. It's my Dad's phone, experiments only on my Nexus 5 :p

^^You can stop worrying about the battery. Anandtech's review gives it high marks on the battery front.

Damn! 7.5hrs on 3G and 11hrs on wifi is great! :O
I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't Anandtech's review. I guess I'm satisfied now. :D
The 2 main cons for this phone are: No expandable memory, and weak camera.
Well I'm not particularly worried about the expandable memory. But yes i would prefer a restricted 16GB card than internal 16GB.

AT's discussion is based on the Global Sim/ single sim model. So all his comparison is done only in regard to single sim models!

I did update to kitkat as well manually. Followed @nishthecooldude instruction.
Phone is indeed good for this price. Applied gadgetshieldz. Took 2 hours . but its worth it. speakers, receptions, call quality are good. Would recommend over other sub 15k phone .

Yes I have updated

can u check whats the locale region in build.prop...
its AU for 4.3

---
whats the point in waiting for the official roll-out if its not IN
i guess the only change if there is any would be the hindi input keyboard preloaded..
also AU has Chinese input included..

so i guess the update may be the same ota zip for all asian ds

dont worry the 13gb available now would be increased to 14-14.5 by changing the partition layout./system and /cache maybe reduced..which somebody would figure out eventually
also even a 16gb microsd has only 14.9 usable
