So, I have a few games that I started on Steam and I just dont want to play them. Even after a few hours I am not enjoying them one bit. Like borderlands 2...for some reason I dont seem to like it whereas a lot of others like it. Is there any way I can give it away or sell it from my library? I know it may be something thats not possible, but still wanted to check.

No, you cannot sell or trade a game that is in your library. BL2 is no fun alone. You won't be able to sell ANY PC games that has been "registered/activated" (ie -"used the serial number") on any online DD service for ex. Steam, Uplay, Origin etc.

Once a game is registered/activated in this way, it is permanently tied to a specific account on that service. If someone buys a retail boxed copy of such a game from you, he will (most likely) not even be able to install it, let alone play it.

If a game doesn't require online registration/authentication/activation then you may be able to sell it.

Although, some people do sell used/activated games. But they also give out the userID and password of the respective account. I am not sure if its illegal or not, but some people do this.

It's technically illegal and you're not allowed to do it openly on most forums, including this one.

Not to mention there is a high chance of getting scammed. It is against the Terms and Conditions of the said accounts and could lead to account closure.
