@kuduku I have sent you a pic regarding antenna query.
For all other users of ZTE AC 2766 the pigtail to use in India is CRC9 male to TNC female

Ebay link http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=crc9 male tnc female&rt=nc&LH_BIN=1

Some pics from my dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6ls7vuoetncfftl/3LgjOljcww

CRC9 was also used in Huawei 1831 modem when BSNL/MTNL 725 UL 3G was on , so most will already be having it .
Patch antenna cable supplied by BSNL has TNC male on both ends .

My ZTE AC2766 has no antenna port/connector. I asked 3-4 different sellers & they don't have the model with inbuilt socket. If anyone has recently purchased ZTE AC2766 which comes with antenna port then please share the item/seller link.

Are there any other models available locally or on international sites that support EVDO RUIM & have antenna port?

BTW - I was successful in recharging 55 STV through freecharge after selecting special recharge in Prepaid mobile.

Its the same BSNL app which was given by BSNL during the old esn modems .
Still dropbox link is https://www.dropbox.com/s/9jhpie8zcamx3mi/Setup-V1.0.27-BSNL-Win.exe?dl=0

The story is that got a new PC , installed and stuff . Same spot where I was getting 300KB download speed I am getting 150KB now . Shifted antenna and stuff , blamed BSNL , finally came to conclusion after one month that issue is in my PC . Checked already available drivers in my PC and their were 2 versions as in pic

I was 2010 version so decided to install 2009 version and saw speed improvements .
Now if somebody can also check and confirm .

Kuduku bhai which antenna you are using with zte 2766..... And also let me know about pigtail...... Here at my place signal strength is very weak...

@kuduku Can you take a pic of your modem which shows the antenna port.
In my modem, there is a hole which is covered by a rubber cap and is in the same place where you attached the antenna to the port. But I am not sure if it is the antenna port since I am unable to remove the rubber cap.

Can I get the antenna (not the connector) from somewhere online? I am not exactly sure if my local BSNL exchange will give me an antenna if I ask for it. Thekr blank vacant looks make me feel weird. :p

They will give/issue it to you free of cost . Dont talk to CC guys/aunties . You have to and meet CDMA JTO who has all hardware under him . He is the guy who programs all CDMA devices . You might meet him by telling some complex problem to aunties with device in hand . They will surely divert you to him for checking programming parameters of sorts

Same question..... Can we use pigtail in that hole.... Because there is nothing to connect with pigtail....

Patch antenna
@hotshot05
@cisco_tech will send u DFS pics soon , running busy these days
IDM speeds downloading from my seedbox . 300+KB consistent download speed in night time using TPlink 3020
modem drivers were giving issues
Daytime fluctuate from 230KB to 280 KB download speed again in IDM from my seedbox

@kuduku What does the modem driver on your PC/Laptop have to do with the speed if you are not connecting it to your laptop/PC directly?
You are attaching your modem with the MR3020 and using net via wi-fi!!

How much speed difference with router mr3020 and without router means direct to pc...... I have the same driver issue.. Connect it again and again.....
ZTE AC2766
Old OS Win8.1 64 bit IDM download speed 300KB
New OS Win8.1 64 bit IDM download speed 100KB
MR3020 using WIFI IDM download speed 300KB
so more than happy with MR3020

guys i got mr3020 v1.9 yesterday but i noticed that when i use data stick with router i get less speed compared to when i directly put data stick to pc.
did anyone face same issue?any driver issues etc?

yes , you will generally get less speeds when using a MIFI/MR3020
which stick ?
@think123
prithvi stick,is there any way to get same speed as we get in stick when directly attached to pc?
as when i plug stick to pc i get around 200KBps but when using router it drops to 100-150KBps.
you are getting very good speed with router as well did you do any firmware changes or anything?
