PC Peripherals Wireless keyboard putting laptops to sleep randomly

Hi All,

I have a Logitech K270 wireless keyboard and mouse set. For the past few days, When I turn on the keyboard and start working, it's putting the laptop to sleep randomly. I thought it could be a battery issue, replaced batteries and still it happened. Tried on a different laptop, different OS, but still same problem. I cleaned the keyboard thoroughly and made sure the sleep key on the monitor is not stuck. But to no avail, the issue still persists.
Can anyone share the resolution if you've come across this issue? Appreciate the help.

Its not the laptop but the device/kb itself going into sleep mode.

Go Device Manager & expand the HID (Human Interface Devices) node.
Find your keyboard in the list drivers under HID.
Right-click on it and select Properties.
Click on the Power Management tab and deselect the checkbox adjacent to “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”
Click OK to save the settings.

Thank you, this worked.
