Three reasons

1) There should be 'Microsoft' Branding in the place of the XBOX 360 branding
2) On the back of the controller , there is a small circular sticker around the top right screw , that is the warranty sticker for Third Party Xbox controllers. Original controllers dont have them
3) And see the circle of light when controller was connected , The green light diffuses along the nearby parts of the circle . In original , the light stays Sharp , does not go in the next part of the circle..

Refer this pic .. How sharp the light margins are ....So this is a well made fake for sure.. Most fakes dont hav inline release. But its there in this , thats the only thing . These fake controllers retail for 1.2k in Local market
