Using HD Tune in Nokia N8 - Is it safe

Is it safe to check nokia n8's mass storage by using Hd tune 5.0 ? I hope it wont corrupt the device's memory or the device itself.. Plz advice...

Because i am doubtful if there is any chance of bad blocks forming in the mass storage. Please give me some information about the mass memory of the NOKIA n8 and how it differs from (if it ) USB drives and HDDs...

I have no idea related to it, but you can scan your memory card using HD tune, without any issue
