8k via amazon, i'm sure its cheaper locally but didnt have the time to look around. Performance i can only guage after a bit, since i've just literally started using it, but since i live in a large society, there are 15 or so wifi networks that get picked up at home, and I needed something stable for my Desktop, 2 laptops, 2 phones, the iPad and the chromecast to connect to. Earlier had the C20i from TP-Link, which was pretty decent.
First impressions though are, damn this Unifi controller software is NEAT, if you're a control freak like me, there are just so many things one can fiddle with. Range is good, getting 5ghz were i wasn't earlier (everywhere in the house)
Still have to mess around with the settings though, including the very hotly debated band steering feature.
