I dont know what were Suzuki thinking when they named their new 125cc bike Sling Shot!
Suzuki two wheelers India will soon launch a new 125cc bike curiously named “Sling Shot†(no we aren’t kidding here) which means it should be good in cutting through the city traffic, a major plus point for any 125cc commuter bike.
Although we have no technical details so far, these pictures which come to you courtesy blurust@team-bhp.com will give you a fairly good idea of how the bike looks. There nothing much to talk about looks per se apart from that half bikini fairing and the floating instrument console, much like the recently launched Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler.
The instrument console in itself is pretty plain jane and is of the analogue variety, a rarity these days when everything is going digital. The console though features a gear indicator light which tells us that this new 125cc bike comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
Although we have no engine details, it would be fair to expect that Sling Shot will feature the modified 125cc engine from the Zeus.
