Guys I am looking for a new mobile phone with budget of 15K (can be stretched up to 20K max if it is worth). Right now I have a BlackBerry 8520 Curve which will be retained for other connection.

Please suggest some good models from HTC/BlackBerry/Sony XPERIA or any other models suitable in my budget.

Usage includes EMAIL/INTERNET/MUSIC/PHOTOS/etc. I expect new phone to have excellent battery life/reliability/snob value.

Should be a latest model as I will be using this one for at least next three years. I am willing to wait for 1-2 months if some thing better is coming up.

21k ---> Atrix 2 (everything you need)
17.5k ---> One V (lacks front came but excellent battery), Xperia Pro (QWERTY & smaller battery), Xperia Neo V (old mobile but has everything you are asking for)

i am also looking for a mobile under 20 k.. preferably android..
currently considering Sony Xperia Sola.. ( i don't like that color band seriously reminds me of my mums Lg GD580)
what are the other options in the range..

I have selected following models from Sony & HTC.

Sony XPERIA U –
Processor – 1GHz
OS – Android 2.3
Camera – 5MP
Memory –4GB nonexpandable
Screen- 3.5
Price- 16500

Sony XPERIA Sola
Processor – 1GHz
OS – Android 2.3
Camera – 5MP
Memory –8GB Expandable
Screen- 3.7
Price- 20000

HTC Desire C
Processor – 600 MHz
OS – Android 4
Camera – 5MP
Memory –4GB Expandable
Screen- 3.5
Price- 15000

HTC Radar
Processor – 1GHz
OS – windows os 7.5
Camera – 5MP
Memory –8GB Non expandable
Screen- 3.8
Price- 15800

HTC One V
Processor – 1GHz
OS – Android 4
Camera – 5MP
Memory –4GB Expandable
Screen- 3.7
Price- 18500

Please suggest me which phone is VFM and best of the lot at that price point. Refer to my requirements in the quoted post. HTC phones have one clear advantage of having expansion slot even in cheap Desire C. Also please rate these phones by ranking them.

Sola - Has good looks + ample processing power, the screen is like butter.

With my heavy use , 1hour+ gps/gprs , and almost 10+hrs of GPRS with music, news reading and a bit tinkering here and there I get a little over 1day battery life.

One V is a lagger so don't buy a single core + it wont be getting Jelly Bean update so no point in spending, Sola will get ICS anytime soon. Other than that if you can source Nexus then go for it for everything else Sola is much better.

Sola has expansion slot as well, plus there is no point in spending 15+ in a single core phone which will be capped out with ICS and no JB update in the future.

Sola, I would say. The Xperia Series looks good.

The HTC Devices in the list above are all slow, either by slow processor or due to ancient hardware (e.g. HTC One V; one friend bought it 2 months back and already unwillingly admits of lags while browsing, gaming and general usage.)

Xperia Go, i guess has very poor screen resolution so it should be avoided. Xperia U is limited to its 4GB memory and, if you consider it, a relatively small screen ( though the DPI is excellent, around 300, i guess).
