Laptops Suggest a laptop :)

My friend wants to purchase a new laptop. He turned to me for guidance but sadly I have never considered a laptop and am really out of the laptop scene.

His Uses:-
1. Programming(Eclipse).
2. Running test servers(Websphere, Weblogic, Adobe proprietary Live Cycle server).
3. Connecting to remote Virtual machines via VMWARE clients(he won't be running VMWARE servers on his machine).

So basically he needs a pretty powerful machine. His budget is 45k(stretched to the maximum).

Help please .

so forget about ASS in this case. I think Dell is your best bet otherwise.
