i got the sms from Airtel informing that i can stop their promotion calls and SMSs. I opted for that. And i still keep getting SMSs in my sms box. Called them once on 121 too, no use.

Same on my other Hutch no. :mad:
 
i replied one sms i got last time from airtel 121 and havent gotten any promo messages since

@zhopudey: Try the Hutch link again, I tried and it works fine, maybe it was down for sometime!

@Funky Donno about Airtel but Hutch definitely stopped all sms for caller tunes etc after opting for DND. It takes two days time for them to stop.

When last time I talk to Hutch Kudi, she told me I use DND service than I can not get Any Offer from Hutch like Recharge today and get Rs.50/- extra talk time, your 6 month limit will end on so and so that, please charge before XXX date

I am really lazy and never remember when the 6 month limit will end, so I prefer to keep the service on.

Easy, is there any option that I only get service related SMS only from Hutch?

i had edited this details once in this forums must be dumped some where. nice effort :clap: :hap2:

BTW people do take note that if you are joining / activating / subscribing / replacing / purchasing a new scheme or product from any service provider (any kind of service infact do make sure to re-register your numbers from corresponding and sister sites. eg: if you take a policy from an insurance company (life / general) make sure you re-register from their parent company and their own site.

i hav registered at almost all the sites and its successfull especially i was relieved by hutch and ICICI calls.
